If you are on this web page, you are probably already considering adopting your future dog from a shelter.
Our dogs came into our care for a variety of reasons: some were previously stray dogs and struggled to survive, others were surrendered by their owners citing changes in their living conditions, and we also have wards who were entrusted to our care due to inadequate housing conditions following an official procedure .
For our residents, the Vackoló shelter is a safe environment and a caring home, where we try to provide them with the best possible conditions.
Our goal is to find a forever home for each of them!
Our conditions for adoption:
• We do not pass on our pets only by keeping them outside. In the event of a storm, fireworks, severe frost or heat, it is absolutely necessary to allow the dog into at least one garage, boiler room or hallway.
• In the case of taking in a puppy, commitment to neutering if it reaches the appropriate age, which is checked by our veterinarian in the Petvet data system.
• Feeding with good quality and age-appropriate dry food. For example: Royal Canin, Dog chow, Happy dog, Select gold, Proplan.
• At least one e-mail report with photos per year.
• We ask our adopters to support the operation of our association with at least half of the veterinary costs of the dog they want to adopt.
